Overview

Position: Registered Nurse 

Location: Reno, NV

Department: Coronary Care Unit

Shifts Available: Days and Nights

Pay: up to $900.00–$1,020.00 per shift (base gross); equivalent to $75.00 – $85.00 per hour.

Assignment Length: 4 weeks

Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
  • Provide direct patient care within scope
  • Guide patient/family education and support nursing staff
  • Maintain CCU care standards
  • Responsible and accountable for assigned patients
  • Communicate patient condition changes and results to physicians
  • Respond quickly and accurately to condition/treatment changes

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  1. Current and valid state RN License.
  2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  3. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
  4. Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
  5. Previous one year of Coronary Care hospital experience required.
