Gross Pay: $1,433 to $2,016 gross pay weekly

Assignment length: 12 weeks

Join our team as a Laboratory Section Supervisor/Lead, where you’ll play a key role in ensuring high-quality patient care through accurate testing, team leadership, and continuous improvement. This role follows all CLIA and regulatory requirements and leverages your expertise across multiple lab disciplines.

• Maintain and update policies, procedures, and documentation
• Identify and resolve testing issues to ensure optimal performance
• Perform complex laboratory testing across multiple areas (Hematology, Blood Bank, Chemistry, Microbiology, and more)
• Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of lab equipment
• Support safe, compliant operations aligned with hospital policies
• Assist with LIS/POC functions and other operational initiatives as needed

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. ASCP certification, or equivalent, required  
2. Requires two years of clinical laboratory work experience that cover all areas of a clinical laboratory.
3. Bachelor’s Degree in chemical, physical, biological science, or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution, or other educational requirements as stated in CLIA 
4. Current and Valid State License if the laboratory is located in a state where required.

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $35.84 to $50.40 This compensation estimate is specific to California and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
